Ihiala Local Government Association UK

Your Bridge to African Culture and Community Support

Ihiala Local Government Association UK is a community association with members from ten autonomous towns namely; Okija, Ihiala, Uli, Amorka, Azia, Mbosi, Isseke, Orsumoghu, Lilu, and Ubuluisiuzor. We have ongoing projects designed to give back to the community at home and here in the United Kingdom. We've refurbished a maternity ward in Ihiala town and built a house for the Leprosy colony in Okija. Our various activities such as the New Yam Festival, cultural events, etc., raise funds and tackle social isolation, hardship, and create an enabling environment for community networking.
